Having left college to pursue his vision of being a woodcarver, Chin-chang Lin moved to Sanyi , a woodcarving center in Taiwan. Starting out carving deities, he only later shifted his focus to subjects allowing for more creativity. Six years ago, he opened a hostel for the income he believed it would bring in, but then closed it down, retaining only his affiliated business of teaching wood assembly. Having returned to his beloved woodcarving, Lin is creating in his own style and letting his imagination soar.
