An-guo Tseng has been a carver for over 20 years. His works reflect his observations of society and of life. In his early years as a carver, he was well-known for his deities, especially those of the Bodhisattva Guanyin. More recently, he has been acclaimed for his boxwood "Guanyin on a Tree Stump." Advanced skills and limitless creativity can be seen in his solemn, elegant and profound works. Some of his pieces have been exhibited even at the Office of the President and in Taipei 101. In recent months, he has been preparing for exhibitions in China.
