Many sculptors begin working with religious themes and gradually shift to other topics. Chia-jang Yeh has not walked down such a path, preferring to continue to sculpt Buddhist statues. Not afraid of competition from China, where such pieces are mass-produced, Yeh creates items not only for worship but also worthy of art collections. Through his glass creations, he displays his carving skills and also contributes to the glass industry in Hsinchu.
